Built forAdvisors and teams weighing a move, more independence or a better fit for their clients

What it answers

The four questions behind every move.

Each answer turns on details that are easy to miss: product mix, agreement terms, timing. The report works through them and puts each answer in writing.

01

How much of my book would come with me?

Your revenue sorted by how it travels, product line by product line, with a conservative, base and upper case. Planning figures, shown as a range.

02

What sets the date?

Non-solicits, Broker Protocol, notice periods, deferred pay and loans, read together and laid out on one calendar.

03

Which firms fit the way I work?

The structures that suit your book and your plans, and firm profiles screened against your must-haves. Firms are described, not named, until you want to look at one.

04

What has to happen first?

A step-by-step roadmap, and the questions every finalist answers in writing before you compare offers side by side.

How it works

Four steps to a clear plan.

It starts with an introductory summary report and builds to a full analysis and a plan you can act on.

01

Take the assessment

Ten questions, about five minutes. You'll see a readiness read on screen right away.

02

Talk it through

A short call about what you're weighing and whether the full report is the right next step.

03

Share the details

A secure intake covering production by product line, assets, team and agreements. It's never shared with a firm without your permission.

04

Review it together

We walk you through the findings, recommend a path and help you carry it out.

Common questions

Before you start.

01Who is the report for?

Financial advisors and teams weighing a move to another firm, an independent platform or their own RIA, usually within the next year or two. It's just as useful when the answer turns out to be staying where you are.

02How does ATP stay objective?

ATP is independently owned and works with firms and platforms across the industry. Every option is weighed against your goals the same way, and the reasoning is in writing for you to test.

03How is my information handled?

In confidence. What you share stays with ATP, and no firm is contacted about you without your go-ahead. When firms are approached, they see a blind profile first.

04How firm are the numbers?

They're planning figures built from what you tell us and your statements, shown as a range rather than a single number. The report marks which figures are estimates and which still need confirming in writing.

05Is this a valuation?

No. It measures how cleanly your clients and revenue could move, and which firms fit. It isn't legal advice either: where your agreements matter, we say so and bring in counsel. If you're thinking about a sale or succession, the valuation report is the better place to start.

Start with five minutes.
