Steve Smith founded Advisor Transition Partners to help financial advisors, CPA firms, and wealth platforms think through the important decisions that shape the future of a practice.
Over more than a decade in the wealth management industry, Steve has worked with independent RIAs, hybrid advisory structures, broker-dealer platforms, and tax-integrated firms. That experience provided a clear view of how transitions actually unfold and why some strengthen a business while others create unnecessary disruption.
In many cases the difference comes down to clarity, preparation, and perspective. Advisor Transition Partners was built around that belief. The firm works alongside advisors and firms as they evaluate strategic changes, helping them approach important decisions with a steady process and a long-term view of the business.
Steve lives in Dallas with his wife and two daughters. Family life keeps the work grounded and reinforces the idea that the businesses advisors build are meant to support something larger than the work itself.
